Founded in Michigan in 2020, Johnny’s Treasure Quest was created from a simple realization during uncertain times: people were missing adventure.

What began as conversations about treasure hunts, exploration, and the legendary Forrest Fenn phenomenon quickly became something much bigger. Johnny, a lifelong collector, jeweler, and adventurer at heart, spoke about the excitement people feel when chasing mystery and discovery. Amy saw something deeper in it. She realized the true treasure was never just gold or silver.

The treasure was the experience itself.

The memories.
The friendships.
The laughter.
The late-night drives.
The stories families would tell for years afterward.
The feeling of becoming part of something larger than everyday life.

That idea became Johnny’s Treasure Quest.

Since 2020, JTQ has inspired thousands of people across Michigan through immersive treasure hunts, livestream events, virtual adventures, games, collectibles, books, community experiences, and real-world exploration designed to bring people together through curiosity, wonder, and discovery.

Amy works behind the scenes helping shape the vision, creative direction, worldbuilding, storytelling, operations, and long-term future of the brand. Together, they continue building JTQ as both a community and an expanding universe of adventure-driven entertainment.
